You must ensure that the numbers of your passport, tickets and other value documents are noted somewhere. It is also useful to have a copy of these documents kept in a safe place.


It is advisable to record important phone numbers, so that in emergency cases, for example, a credit card or debit card can block. It is also useful to have the alarm phone number of your insurance company.

A well-known holiday illness is diarrhea. When affected by it, it is important that your body not dry out. Drink a lot and often! If a salt deficit is experienced, you can create a saline solution (ORS for example) or take a cup of broth.


Wood areas are charactereristic for transmitting diseases. Please check your body regularly, for any signs and remove these immediately. You may opt to use special tweezers available in the pharmacy or at better drugstores.


Do not underestimate the power of the sun, even in cloudy weather, you can really burn! Use a sunscreen with a high protection factor and wear a hat and sunglasses.

In cases of (daily) medication it is wise to carry a medical passport. Please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

If you use lenses or glasses, it is prudent to carry a spare pair of glasses or lenses.

Carry a well stocked first aid box that contains at least the following:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-anti-mosquito agent
-ointment against mosquitoes - and ant bites
-iodine
-
saline solution to prevent dehydration (ex. ORS)
-anti-diarrhea medicine (ex. Norit)
-sunscreens with high protection
-scissors
-tweezers and tick tweezers
-medicine against fever and pain (eg paracetamol)
-dressings, such as bandages, sterile gauze, etc.
